American geographers choose to present ARTICQUE’s C&D to the AAG 2009 annual meeting in Las Vegas to be held March 22-27, 2009.
Dr Kazimierz J. Zaniewski and Mamadou Coulibaly, from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, discovered C&D from www.geocampus.com.
This program allows every teacher, student and researcher to download a one-year license for free. After having illustrated their studies thanks to the advanced statistical mapping functionalities available from C&D, they decided to propose it to their students who preferred it over other American tools. They particularly enjoyed the organigram, true graphical phase that illustrates the user’s thoughts and ensures an educational and iterative approach.
For this occasion, Articque decided to support their enthusiasm by offering a one-year free license of the C&D software to every AAG member, enabling them to take advantage of the best of statistical mapping.
This warm welcome is a good omen for the European group which is about to launch a brand new product on the American soil in the weeks to come… Keep an eye on this.
