Complementary tools for C&D

Num: map digitalization

Num enables you to draw a vectorial map with polygons, lines and points. You can draw it above a bitmap map with different layers, or modify a vectorial map.

Its assets: It is a real vectorial map builder, which gives you the freedom to create, modify points, lines or surfaces of your map, to give another name to entities, to change the scale, to change file format...

The maps you get are usable in Cartes & Données. You can also save the files in many different formats: Dxf, Mapinfo, Arcinfo, Postscript, Shapefile, EDIgéo...

Easy vectorial map built for everybody.

Num imports your files, bitmap or numerical maps to be used as a pattern to create new vectorial maps.

Notice that you can draw points/lines/surfaces above any scanned image.

Multicartes: Automate the production of your maps

MultiCartes is the ideal tool to industrialize your maps production. It enables you to carry out the same statistical processing on various territories by generating a series of maps automatically: an invaluable time-saver!

Puzzle: the map extractor

This software allows you to display your selection either with a single map, or with both map and list of the administrative cuttings.

Select the area you want to extract using easy and powerful methods: Puzzle is usefull with Carticque France and Carticque World CDs. This tool enables you to make an exact selection of the geographical entity which will become your new map. You can choose entities in a list, on a map or input a file which contains their codes.

Geocode: converting address files into statistical data

Geolocalisation creates a dot map which positions each address in the appropriated country.

The purpose of this programme is to read a file containing postal addresses, and to establish the correspondence with the communes (administrative divisions) as listed by their official code (INSEE code for France, INS code for Belgium).
